Fresh and unpredictable art. Totnes artist Julia Kelland creates striking and vibrant mixed media paintings. A unique dialogue is built upon the paper as she transforms ‘accidentals’ and realistic representations of wildlife into colourful images. This process lends each piece a life of its own. Inspired by regular visits to West Dean College with many works derived from tapestry’s seen there. Julia’s art grows from strength to strength as she has at last returned to her ‘beloved’ Devon. She has held a joint exhibition with her sister Susie Hancox.
