The most famous citizen of Schwäbisch Hall - Thomas Schweicker (6.12.1540 to 7.10.1602) - had a genetic defect and was born without arms. He was considered a Monster in medical terms and his case has been studied throughout the world by medical clinicians over the past five centuries. He created exquisite manuscripts and copper plates with his feet. |
