Ronald ( Ronnie ) won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Art, but the war intervened He was one of the first to release in mates of the POW camps and because of his artistic talents he was asked to draw the prisoners and camps for the records This affected him for the rest of his life and he just would not discuss the matter |

Doris Lilian Childs married James Lewis Hope Here he is in his Flying Corps uniform in WW1 He ran away at 16 years of age but was sent home as being too young. Not to be deterred however he did the same again the next year and managed to get himself posted to India with the RFC |
